Purpose: To create at evening where the
community of SCBC will come together for worship, fellowship and life-changing
teaching from the Bible. The goal
is to help people become mature and fully equipped followers of Jesus
Christ. LLL seeks to have
interesting and relevant instructors who pass on a passion to serve Jesus in
their world and abroad.
Join us on Sunday nights at 6 PM starting Sept 18.
Our night includes worship, God stories, food and top-notch electives from excellent instructors. Our third session dates and electives are listed below.

Worshiping God through the Seasons of Life
Guided by the Psalms - Tim Bahula
Join us as Tim takes us through the prayerbook of the Bible. In this study we will walk through the seasons of life and see what God has to say to us through His word. You will see just how enjoyable and applicable the book of Psalms is for the worshipping community.
Reputations - Steve McCombe
So what is in a reputation? Together participants will define what a reputation is and how it influences us and how we think about others. We will examine a number of characters and how what they did or didn't do, contributed to their reputation. This session will require active learning and discussion on the part of participants or in other words, it is not a sit and get session. Bring your Bible, pens and views as together we discuss a variety of famous and not so famous individuals from the Bible and how they influenced those around them and us today.
Seeing and Savouring Jesus Christ - DVD by John Piper - hosted by Don Howard
In 2 Corinthians, Paul described one of the central problems facing humanity in every age: people fail to see Christ for who he is. It is important that we not only learn to see Christ but delight in him and the truth of the gospel. Join us as we study the meaning and significance of these ideas with an opportunity for reflection and questions. Our goal is to learn to behold and delight in Jesus more than anything this world has to offer.
Also, running concurrently with our adult program is a program for all ages.
