Please take some time to look over the list of events below to see what's happening in early 2012 for the women of Stoney Creek. We hope that you will choose to attend one, some or all of our ministry opportunities, as your time permits. It's a great way to get to know other women, to connect to Stoney Creek and to find a place to serve the Lord.
Here are some dates for the winter:
1. LADIES BIBLE STUDY - We meet every Thursday from 9:45 - 11:00 a.m. For the first few weeks of our winter session, we will be "Learning Lessons from our own Ladies". It may be a story of how God has worked in their lives, a favourite book, Scripture passage or song. Then, on February 9, Rebecca Drew will be with us to tell us about her first term in Papua, New Guinea and on March 1st, Sylvia Carter will be our special speaker for Missions Week. On March 8th, we will begin studying via video with Beth Moore. This will be our 3rd study with Beth and we'll be doing "David: Having a Heart Like His". You'll want to order a study guide in order to get the most out of this study. The deadline for ordering the study gude is Sunday, February 12. The coffee is ready at 9:30 so come early to enjoy some chat time. Babysitting is provided and all are welcome. We meet in the chapel.
2. EVENING EDITION - Our evening Bible study will resume on March 8th when we will run the Beth Moore study, "David: Having a Heart Like His" concurrently with the morning study. Deadline for sign-up and ordering the study guide is Sunday, February 12th. We will need at least 5 women to make this study viable.
3. COVER2COVER: THE SEQUEL - Our next selection is "Applause of Heaven" by Max Lucado. Discussion night is Monday February 27 at 7:30 p.m. in the Youth Room. Bring your own drink or snack if you would like one.
